PAINT CORRECTION. IS IT WORTH IT?

WHAT DOES IT COST?

How much money should you spend on paint correction, and how much does it cost? Average paint correction prices are as follows:

Remember, it’s important to keep in mind… these are AVERAGE paint correction prices. It all depends on the condition of your vehicle’s paint, its defects, and what results you’re looking for. As we said before, our main priority is to work with you, one on one, to find exactly what works for you. All while keeping it in your budget.

WHY HAVE YOUR VEHICLES PAINT CORRECTED?

Many clients wonder “What are the benefits of having your paint corrected?” or “Is it really that important?” Over time, as we drive our vehicles, wash them, and use them for everyday tasks, the elements of the outside world eventually begin to degrade our paint. After years of seeing bird droppings, being scratched, and slowly oxidizing, your car that once had immaculate paint might be in less than perfect condition. Paint correction allows us to roll back the clock and bring back the original gloss, shine, color and depth that your car had the day it rolled off the lot. Bellow we’ve attached a video of a time when polishing a truck’s paint saved it from rust damage!

THE PROCESS: WASH. PREP. CORRECT.

  • WASH.

There’s several stages that are necessary when we wash your vehicle. First, is the “pre- wash”. This is where we remove as much surface dirt from the vehicle as possible without touching the paint. Second, is the “Traditional car wash”, which is exactly what you think! After surface dirt removal, it’s time for us to wash the paint the way you did when you were a kid! Well…not exactly. We use better chemicals, technique, and special processes, but you get the idea!

  • PREP.

Next is the “iron decontamination phase”. This phase helps remove microscopic embedded contaminants. Contaminants like these, are single handedly responsible for long term paint DAMAGE! This brings us to “clay barring” the paint. The clay bar process allows us to remove all of the last contaminants that are embedded in the paint. This leaves behind a smooth and glassy surface. Last but not least, is a simple “final wipe” that strips any oils, waxes or other chemicals that are still stuck on the surface of the paint.

  • CORRECT.

Now that the car paint has been completely washed and prepped, it’s time to begin our paint correction. That means it’s time to level out the clear coat, remove some scratches, and make your paint look beautiful! Since we just spent all that time stripping down the paint of any contaminants, waxes, and oils, you’re going to want to protect your paint for the long term. In years past, wax or paint sealant was the only option. While we do offer these services, we HIGHLY recommend protecting your paint with a ceramic coating!
