DETAILING BORN IN SANTA ROSA.
Cutting Edge Auto Detailing had its humble beginning with three high school friends who had a dream of building their own mobile detailing business. We all three took great care of our personal vehicles, but when our friends started seeing the results they couldn’t help but want theirs done too! So that’s how we started… 5 years ago, with a rusty power washer, a tiny Shark vacuum, a Walmart foam cannon and some serious power of will. Here’s Esteban back in the day, on the first detail we ever did!
Sure things have changed over the years. Our partner Diego decided to leave to pursue selling insurance, our equipment got completely upgraded several times, but our core belief still remains the same: To run an auto detailing business that actually puts the needs of our clients first, and work backward from there.
Looking back, we’re happy to be where we are now, thanks to supporting friends, an amazing six month paint correction and ceramic coating course, and our hard work and dedication to make this detailing business work! Believe it or not, we grew into the ceramic coating and auto detailing business we are today, we spent countless hours scoping out as many auto detailing shops here in Santa Rosa, CA. After countless hours of examining their websites, checking their pricing, and hearing the feedback from our community here in Sonoma County we found the same things:
Half hearted jobs where prices were unnecessarily raised
Detailers that charged prices so high that no one would pay for
And best of all, Detailers that damaged the car’s paint without saying anything
We decided then, that we would be a customer service business first, and auto detailing business second. We love auto detailing, and we love Sonoma County! We’ve learned that our reputation is the most important asset we have, everything else is secondary.
